I love Fozzie's story. It illustrates why AHF was founded - and how we are making a difference. From the Volunteers who saved Fozzie - to those that cared for him - to those that helped him find a home. It took several angels to give Fozzie the life he deserved. And to Katherine - who created digital story for all of us to reflect on why we work tiredlessly to save animals like Fozzie.

  3. What an amazing story! I wonder how many people passed Fozzie by, only seeing the matted fur and hearing that awful cough.

I am grateful that AHF volunteers could look past the neglect, and see the wonderful dog inside that was waiting to be rescued.

  4. Great story! You could have your own channel on the great animals you have saved thru the years. I adopted my dog, Bella from AHF years ago & it was the best decision I've ever made. She's a great dog & my best buddie.

  5. Jill is my friend, and now so is Buddy! Jill had been looking over a period of time for a rescue dog, and knew as soon as she saw him, that Buddy was for her. He is the sweetest little guy and tags after her everywhere! Now my girls Rosie (a Jack Russell) and Sweetie ( a Shih Tzu) look forward to our weekly play dates!
It's so nice to know that there are people who believe we should never have throw away pets. Kudos to AHF and volunteers everywhere who champion the rights of all animals! Buddy is now a happy, healthy and much loved little guy, who gives back as much as he receives. He's a true success story
