Volunteers needed for 5K run/3k dog walk on Sept 18th

Our 5K run/3k dog walk on Sept 18 is in need of volunteers. If you can volunteer for this event use the link to register. There are many positions open, one I am sure you'd find to suit your needs.

Digital Stories for Rescue Animals

I have been taking a social networking/media class and learning how to create digital stories and slide shows. I have found that it is a fun way to show off Almost Home Foundation's rescue animals.

Here is some of what I have done so far when I was sent lots of great pictures for AHF animals. These stories are also linked on AHF's new May home page via the animal's special story.

I just received a letter from my Illinois State Rep... saying "House Bill1080 did not move forward out of committee for a vote on the House floor before the deadline passed. This bill is unlikely to move forward."

We know that there are thousands of other untold  AHF "success stories" and we are hoping that you will share your here also.

What's New - on Almost Home's Facebook page?

We now have a link to our "Available Animals" on Facebook.  It is powered by our Pet Point / Petango data so all information is live and as up to date as we are at any given moment.

Just goto Almost Home Foundation's web page and find the 'available animals' link and click on it.  We are hoping this will help more people find out about our animals.  So please share this.  Thanks!
